The cobbled village of Pedrógão Pequeno is 5 km away, with a weekly Sunday market, a post office, primary school, B&B, restaurant, doctor, and various shops and bars. Over the dam and the Cabril Lake is the small town of Pedrógão Grande.

The cottage has mains water and electricity. It's a good solid building in good condition, the roof and roof timbers are very good, as are the windows, floors and double wooden ceiling. The place will be easy to warm in winter and cool in summer.
